Featured in the BCI's Business Continuity Awareness Week
This year’s BCI Business Continuity Awareness Week feature contains a piece I co-authored. I am excited to share that the article on The Hybrid World was published this week. It results from a collaboration with the Business Continuity Institute’s (BCI) Women In Resilience (WiR) group. Working with the WiR’s Ratna Pawan, we developed a feature on how technology tools are an excellent enabler for women in the workforce. It also speaks to their experience throughout the pandemic.
The new hybrid world and the associated flexibility could augur well for women. While their role will not get more accessible, it could get more manageable. A mixed way of working is here for the time being, and the blog considers the benefits for women in the future.
The challenges of women in the workforce are real. Many struggled to manage careers, family demands, and a new way of working. Additionally, women lost their jobs more than men and struggled to regain new work. Others decided to drop out of the workforce altogether.
I encourage you to read my blog on Workforce Resilience Post-COVID and Employee Resilience for more. For now, I invite you to check out the BCI feature and let me know what you think in the comments below.
